 By Ananya Kumari  The Central Board of Secondary Education ( CBSE ) has issued a public advisory warning schools and parents about the circulation of counterfeit  NCERT textbooks  in the market. According to the official notice, the board has received information that “unauthorised book sellers are supplying counterfeit/fake versions of  NCERT  textbooks at discounted prices.” These fake books reportedly suffer from poor print quality and content inaccuracies, raising concerns about their potential impact on students’ learning. Some of the revised textbooks for classes 3 and 6 that were to be made available for the current academic session hit the market only after the session began.  photo credit: website

 By Ananya Kumari Reliance Industries plans to set up a 1-gigawatt AI data center in India’s Andhra Pradesh, the state’s chief minister said on Friday,  adding to infrastructure capacity in India where the likes of Google and Microsoft have made huge AI investments.   Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu did not disclose financial details of the investment. Known colloquially as the SAG Awards, the awards show will now be dubbed the Actor Awards presented by Sag-Aftra, the labour union representing US film, television and radio actors. "Since the beginning, our statue has been called 'The Actor' and we're a show that's entirely about actors, so this new name is a perfect next step in the show's evolution," the show's executive producer said on Friday.
